IDK if it will be cash prizes, additions to various geek collections, or a mix of the two; but in order to join for the Mad Bomber Cup 2026, you will have to be a member in the discord server and DM(Not Just Ping) "Apply for the Mad Bomber Cup" to me and if there's a spot available you will be entered.  I will catch and raise your team for you on stream and set them up before the playoffs with your instructions(Yes, the setup is incredibly convoluted even for me... But that's the offer take it or leave it!).  Now, I will not be competing in a tournament that I'm handing out prizes in for obvious reasons, but just know that I will not have the open tourney unless I have at least 4 entrants; though I do plan on having space for up to 8!  There may be a video up soon explaining further...

Types are determined by The Wheel of Sadness, which has 17 numbered balls, each correlating with a type.

Team Lineup Restrictions 

1: Duplicate Non-Starter Pokemon are allowed; for instance if you roll a Fire and a Rock and want to run 2 Magcargos, that is allowed.  IDK why you'd want to, especially when prizes are involved, but it is allowed.

2: Duplicate Held Items are allowed.

3: Starter Clause is in effect. If you can't get a starter after six rolls, then the oldest type is removed and the wheel will continue to spin until you have a possible starter. Thankfully it's extremely rare...

4: No Legendary Pokemon, at least not for this season.

Official Mad Bomber Cup battles are best of 7, in this order.

1: Single (Free Switch)

2: Single (Lock)

3: Double (Free Switch)

4: Double (Lock)

5: Advantage Picks!/Wheel of Sadness if tied

6: Underdog Picks!

7: Wheel of Sadness!!!

Special Rules:

1: Different Lead Clause: In each Single Battle, you cannot lead with the same Pokemon; in each Double Battle, you cannot lead with the same 2 Pokemon.

2: Sleep Clause is in effect.

3: Lock just means that you can't manually switch Pokemon, but you can still force switches with moves like Roar and Baton Pass.
